Thank you so much for requesting information about my incredible assemblies!
This hidden page on my website has been created just for you. It should answer most of your questions about my shows, fees for your area, and more. Let’s get into it!
I will answer all of that for you right now but there is an important question you may not have thought of…
First, I’ll give you short answers, starting with…
Bear in mind that the fees listed are all-inclusive. There are no additional mileage charges or hidden fees.
As you will see, you may also receive discounts by partnering up with other schools in one district for multiple performances over the course of a week.
Here is a breakdown of specific discounts based on multiple schools in one district on consecutive days.
PLEASE NOTE: All payments must be made before or on the performance date. (BOCES purchase orders are EXEMPT from this policy and are gladly accepted.)
1 school:
One Program = $525
Two Programs = $725 (2 back-to-back presentations of the same assembly program performed before or after lunch)
Evening “Family Nite” performance PLUS receive one daytime assembly on the same day FREE! – $925
2 schools in the same district:
Both schools must book the same program on the same day
– Each school saves $100 on the above fees
3 or more schools in the same district:
Schools must be booked on consecutive days
– Each school saves $150 on the above fees
Now for the second question…
The easiest way to answer that is by simply checking my online calendar here:
For specific questions about scheduling, please call my office at (716) 940-8963. I’ll also be happy to answer any specific questions via email too.
And now for the third question most people ask…
I offer fun-filled, interactive assemblies for grades K-8 schools. Each assembly is 45 minutes long and the BEST part is that I alter the presentations based on the grade levels. That means if your school’s grades are K-5 (for instance), I can do a presentation structured for K-2 and then a second assembly for grades 3-5 that is specifically structured for those grades.
I can present the assemblies anywhere: cafeteria, gymnasium, multi-purpose room, or whatever situation your school has. My set-up time is about 35 minutes, meaning minimal disruption in your school’s day.
My assemblies are filled with magic, interactive fun, music, colorful backdrops, sound effects, age-appropriate humor, and much more!

“’Superb!! Awesome!! Incredible!!’ These are just some of the things said by teachers, children and parents about Cris Johnson’s performance at Court Street School in Lancaster, NY. His magic show was unbelievable and left everyone amazed. His ability to integrate entertainment with an educational message was phenomenal. He kept full control of the children while allowing them to relax and enjoy the show. It is rare to find a character education show that not only delivers a powerful message to the children, but also entertains to this degree. This is definitely a show you want to have at your school!”
– Mary Dettelis, PTO, Court Street Elementary School, Lancaster, NY

“Cris did a wonderful job of using his performance magic to support our P.A.R.P theme: ‘books are magic…the real trick is reading.’ Outstanding & very easy to work with!”
Scott Tellgren, Principal

“I have NEVER gotten feedback like this on an assembly! Cris was the PERFECT choice- directly tied into all we do here. We all really enjoyed his show and the kids loved him too! Thanks so much!!!”
Jennifer Norman, Principal

“Thanks again for coming to Hill and Plain. It is so hard to find Character Education programs for our young students but your shows NEVER disappoint. Several teachers remarked how good you are and I love your messages: The message about not judging others from what they see but how you got to get to know the student and know them from the inside. Also the last magic trick about including others…that visual was so ON key. Having the white little block left out was so evident to the students and they comprehended well. I also loved the magic trick where the strong kid can’t pick up the box…it was perfect for that particular kid because he’s pretty popular and having him not be the “one” that succeeds was perfect.”
Heliett Sanchez, School Counselor
Hill And Plain School
New Milford, CT
“Just a quick note to say how much our family enjoyed your magic show at Niagara Street School! Your show was delightful, entertaining and hilarious! Thanks again for a wonderful show!”
